Elders at Winchester First Church of God are spiritual leaders who oversee all decisions regarding financial accountability, fiduciary responsibility and serve as the guardians and protectors of the church’s vision.

How long have you been at WFCOG?
My husband Joe and I have attended WFCOG since 2005.
Can you share some of your testimony?
I was raised in church and came to faith in Jesus at a very young age. I think because of that, for a long time I viewed salvation more as a list of do’s/don’ts to keep up with, instead of seeking to know Jesus and accepting His grace to cover my sins. Like Adam and Eve hiding from God in the garden after they sinned, I sometimes felt like I had to hide from God because I knew I wasn’t good enough. Romans 8:1-2 and John 1:14-16 were key to helping me understand that I could never be good enough, but Jesus, full of grace and truth, offers salvation without condemnation for those who believe.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my family and raising kids who love and serve Jesus; also sound Biblical teaching and discipleship in the church.
Do you or did you have a job outside of WFCOG? If so, where?
I work as a CPA.
What are some of your favorite things to do?
Some of my favorite things to do are gardening, hiking, traveling, learning new things, and spending time with family and friends.
