How long have you been at WFCOG?
I have been attending the Winchester First Church of God for 31  years since the spring of 1994. Before this, I attended the Clearfield Tabernacle in Morehead Kentucky  and the First Church of God in Jackson, Kentucky.
Can you share some of your testimony?
I was originally saved at church VBS when I was around 11 years old in Ohio.  As I grew up, I gradually turned my back on the Lord, but God was always watching over me through an abusive childhood and first marriage. I praise the Lord that His Spirit continually worked in my heart until I rededicated my life.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about praising God through my worship and  serving Him with my life.  Besides forgiving my sins and protecting me through adversities, He made a way for me to complete my childhood dream of being a teacher in my 30s against all odds.
Do you or did you have a job outside of WFCOG? If so, where?
I retired from teaching for 24 years almost 11 years ago. I taught 2 years in Jessamine County and 22 years at Strode  Station Elementary in the Clark County School system. I’ve been volunteering as the church treasurer for 10 years now  during retirement and am thankful for a way to continue to serve Him.
What are some of your favorite things to do?
I enjoy being with my husband. In addition, I love camping, reading, and crocheting. Also, I love music. If you are in the hallway when I’m working in the counting room, you’ll hear K-LOVE  and may even catch me singing along.
